Solubility: Easily soluble in water with strong heat release. Also soluble in ethanol and glycerol; insoluble in acetone. When exposed to air, it eventually dissolves completely into a solution.
Performance Characteristics: The solid is mainly white, glossy, may have color, is hygroscopic, and easily soluble in water.
Uses: Basic chemical raw material, used as a high-purity reagent, widely applied in chemical industry, metallurgy, papermaking, petroleum, textiles, and daily chemical industries. Used in the manufacture of soap, paper, rayon, finishing cotton textiles, and refining kerosene.
